On Friday, March 14, the Spanish Ambassador, H.E Angel Lossada, the Counselor of the Embassy’s Economic and Commercial Office, Mr Yann Emonet, the CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Mr Simon Madjie, and the President of the Spain-Ghana Chamber of Commerce, Mr Joaquín Roura had a lunch meeting at the Spanish Embassy in Ghana. The lunch meeting aimed to bring these organizations together to discuss and explore avenues for cooperation and new investment opportunities in the country, which are presented by the change of administration and the policies intended to promote economic development and attracting more Spanish companies.
Mr. Madiie highlighted key initiatives,including a review of the GIPC Act in line with AfCFTA protocols, the
establishment of an lnvestor Grievance Mechanism, and internal reforms to streamlne investor services.
Mr. Madjie reaffirmed GIPC’s commitment to creating a more investor- friendly environment through strategic engagement and policy reforms.
