On April 30, the Spain Ghana Chamber of Commerce celebrated the first edition of the Feria de Abril in
Ghana. The event, held at Mama Cuisine restaurant, was very well received by the public. A large part of
the Spanish community supported the proposal, as well as the Latinos and the entire international and
local community. Some typical Spanish dishes were served, such as fried fish, Spanish omelet, crispy
aubergine, etc. Partly made with products provided by one of the event’s main sponsors, GB Foods,
which contributed with its prestigious brands Gino, Jumbo, Bama, Pomo, and Jago. Wines from the Garcia
Carrion winery, Don Simon juices provided by WAGCOL and Comet Ghana, and delicious wines from
Felix Solis provided by Butcher Boyz, Prestige Trade were also tasted. All the sponsors are prestigious
Spanish companies with a strong presence in Ghana, Africa, and the international market.
The dancer Ana Rodriguez gave demonstrations of typical Flamenco and sevillanas dances.
