Breakdown of DVLA fees and charges for 2026

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has released its fees for services for the year 2026.

In a notice issued by the Authority, the updated charges cover a wide range of licensing and vehicle-related services provided by the DVLA across the country.

The services affected include the conversion of driving licences, licence upgrades, replacement of lost or damaged licences, renewal of driving licences, issuance of new driving licences, accident reports, proficiency tests, and the issuance of international driving permits, among others.

In a post on Facebook on Thursday, February 5, the Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Julius Neequaye Kotey, said the publication of the 2026 fees is intended to inform the public and ensure transparency in the delivery of its services.

Members of the public have been advised to take note of the approved rates and transact business only at DVLA offices and authorised centres.
