On Friday, October 11, 2024, the Embassy of Spain in Ghana hosted a reception to commemorate the Día de la Hispanidad. The event was in partnership with the Spain Ghana Chamber of Commerce and supported by member companies, Coca-Cola, Miniplast, Greenviews, GB Foods, Wagcol and Comet Ghana. The reception was attended by a large representation of the Spanish community resident in Ghana, representatives of other embassies and diplomatic corps, government officials, members of Spain Ghana Chamber of Commerce and business leaders.
In a brief speech, H.E Angel Lossada Torres-Quevedo introduced himself to the attendees, as he had just assumed the role of Spanish Ambassador to Ghana.. He emphasized Spain’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Ghana.
The evening passed quietly with live music by a guitarist and delicious food.
