SGCC attends Ministry of Trade & Industry Public-Private Business Environment Forum

The Spain Ghana Chamber of Commerce attended the Public-Private Business Environment Forum which was organized by the Ministry of Trade & Industry on Thursday, 18th November 2021 at Alisa Hotel. This forum was organized to address the challenges foreign businesses faced whilst doing business in Ghana.

This event was attended by the various Chambers of Commerce and business associations and also companies belonging to these entities present in Ghana. Also in attendance were the various governmental institutions and agencies such as the Ghana Revenue Authority, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ghana International Trade Commission, Ministry of Energy, Electricity Company of Ghana, Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Ghana Free Zones Authority, Food and Drugs Authority and lastly the Rent Control Department.

Each agency made presentations about their services and later responded to questions posed by the audience present regarding the challenges they faced. Some section of the audience also proffered solutions to some of the challenges they faced, of which the agencies took notes.

Companies who formed of the Spain Ghana Chamber of Commerce delegation were Comet Ghana, GB Foods, Coca Cola Bottling Company of Ghana, Glovo Ghana and Opein Rental Equipment.
